Polliwog (ages 6-14)

Beginners at this age group establish confidence in the water and the ability to swim at least five feet unaided.

 

Guppy (ages 6-14)

Your child will become totally independent in water at this level. Children learn rotary breathing, front crawl and backstroke.

 

Minnow (ages 6-14)

Endurance is emphasized at this level. Your child will learn to swim at least a lap of front crawl and backstroke.

 

Fish (ages 6-14)

This class helps your child perfect strokes and learn more difficult swim skills such as elementary backstroke, the breaststroke, dolphin kicks and the turnover sequence.

 

Flying Fish (6-14)

Your child develops competitive skills: butterfly, breaststroke, and individual medley.

 

Shark (6-14)

Sharks focus on stroke refinement and endurance of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly. Discussions include basic first aid and survival techniques.

 

• Evening lessons are Tuesday & Thursday for 4 week sessions.

• Classes are 30 minutes in length.

• Saturday lessons are 8 week sessions, available for members.

 

Facility Member:

$30 for 1 month session. Registration available now!

 

Program Member:

$60 for 1 month session

 

There is a class minimum that must be met in order to run the class. Classes will be cancelled or combined if the minimum number is not met. There must be six students. We offer swimming lesson placement testing where we will assess your child and recommend the correct level to sign up for.
