Camp Round Meadow
Rustic charm in the San Bernardino National Forest
In the Barton Flats Area of the San Bernardino National Forest, Camp Round Meadow is a 180-bed property that provides year round camping programs for youth and families. Round Meadow is named after the large natural meadow adjacent to the property that provides a habitat for a number of forest animal and plant species and promotes a greater appreciation of the outdoor wilderness.
Round Meadow is the oldest YMCA camp facility currently in operation and is loved by the thousands of campers young and old who have experienced the natural and rustic beauty of the site. Camp Round Meadow is our only property that is reserved for ‘exclusive use’ by groups of 100 or more.
History
Camp Round Meadow is one of the oldest camps in the Barton Flats area. Opened in 1927 in conjunction with Camp Little Green Valley, Camp Round Meadow has served close to 500,000 individuals in the last 80 years.
