Camp Whittle

Boys & girls ages 7 – 15

Located in the San Bernardino Mountains, YMCA Camp Whittle is the ideal learning and recreational setting

for returning and first time campers. Experienced adult leaders will guide your children in activities including

horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, archery, crafts and much more. Girls sleep in cabins and boys sleep in cabins or platform tents.

Unit 1: Ages 7 – 10, Unit 2: Ages 11 – 14

High School Counselor in Training (CIT) at Camp Whittle

Ages 15 – 16

July 24 – 31

The goal of this program is to help young teens develop such skills as leadership, communication, teamwork

and organization. CITs will be assigned to cabins and act as leaders to younger campers under the guidance of adult counselors and directors. All CITs will receive training in CPR and first aid and will be certified by the end of the course. If interested, please pick up an application, which must be submitted by May 22.

Participants must put down a minimum of $50 deposit toward the fees.
