The East Valley Family YMCA Afterschool program is designed to provide quality programming in the community for children, helping them develop intellectually, socially, emotionally and physically in a safe and nurturing environment. Family and community involvement is strongly encouraged to support the YMCA program goals and a child’s holistic development.
Benefits include year-round care, 1:14 staff to child ratio and enrichment instructors with a background in education and child development. Curriculum includes homework time, fun enrichment classes and activities throughout the day and the chance to work with community organizations.

Curriculum includes homework time, fun enrichment classes and activities throughout the day, free, nutritious snacks, fitness time and parent nights.
YMCA child care staff is CPR/first aid and water safety certified and fingerprinted to ensure quality and safety for your child. YMCA staff have also completed training and coursework in child development and early childhood education.
