Kids get a chance to learn good sportsmanship and teamwork as they practice fundamental skills while having a whole lot of fun. Volunteer coaches provide an additional role model for kids. Your kids will develop friendships and you’ll build a network of like-minded parents. Financial assistance is available.
Cost:
$70 Facility Members + $18 for uniform
$125 Program Members + $18 for uniform
Weekday Assessments:
Jan 17 - 20, 6 - 7 pm
Important Dates:
Jan 6 - Coaches meeting
Jan 23 - Coaches will form teams and decide practices for communication to families.
Jan 30 - First week of practice
Feb 4 - First day of games
Feb 25 - Picture day
March 24 - Last day of games
March 31 - First day of playoff games (7yrs-up only) – Play-offs is dependent upon size of league and is not guaranteed.
April 7 - Last day of playoff games

Volunteer Opportunities
The Gardena-Carson Family YMCA is always looking for volunteers. We will need volunteer coaches, team parents, and referees for the 5-6 age groups. This is a great way to support your child and the YMCA. We are also looking for coaches for our 7-17 age groups. If you are interested in being a coach or a referee for the 5-6 division, please contact the Sports Director.
