Gooooooal! Whether you root for Chivas USA or LA Galaxy, you’ll love the Youth Soccer program at our Y because it’s an exciting blend of team play and individual skills. There are no try-outs, no one gets cut and we promise there are no benchwarmers! Every child plays at least half of every game while making friends and learning new soccer skills and techniques.
”Our neighborhood hosted a huge World Cup party where we watched the games as a family. After that, my sons couldn’t wait to sign up to play at our Y. It’s great to watch them develop their skills. The only thing I could do without is them practicing ‘dribbling’ the ball in our kitchen!”
Keeping our focus on participation and fun, your child will learn basic soccer skills through games and associated activities during each week’s 60-minute practice. Staying true to our Y values of nurturing everyone’s potential in spirit, mind and body, is a priority. Every game begins with a Youth Sports Pledge, ends with a handshake, and every child receives an award at the end of the season.
Youth Soccer at our Y is a progressive soccer development program with featuring age-specific levels. We teach kids to become not only better soccer players, but also better people too.

Teamwork and tekkers.
Our youth soccer program is an indoor activity also known as “futsal.” Futsal is an exciting, fast-paced small sided soccer game that is played by thousands of adults and children across the world.
Futsal can aid players in the traditional soccer game by developing skills that will make children better players, both on the soccer pitch and the futsal court. Futsal encourages young players to become more agile, faster, stronger and have better balance. It also gives them lots of opportunities to practice passing, dribbling, turning, shooting and ball control. Futsal is a fun game that will develop children’s confidence and social skills as they all get an equal opportunity to play and engage with their teammates.
