Pool Update

Thank you for your patience as we continue to search for a viable option to replace the pool. We have been moving forward with our construction and funding plans. Our staff and board members volunteer leaders have joined with Association executives and volunteer leaders in a commitment to this process.

A new pool will offer opportunities for improvement: environmentally friendly water and energy conservation approaches not used in industry practice two decades ago and the redesign of the pool pavilion area. But securing resources for a capital project is a challenging undertaking in today’s economic climate, and the length of time required to move forward on construction will depend upon our ability to identify interested and generous funding partners.

This is your YMCA. You can count on us to keep you well informed about our progress towards a new pool. As new updates are available, we will share them with you.
