The School Age Site Director is responsible for overall management and service delivery for the after school licensed program, providing direct supervision of Teachers and children. Responsibilities include: staff supervision and evaluation; active ratio with children as necessary; program curriculum implementation; management of food inventory and snack calendar; safety and risk management; accounting; Title 22 license compliance; parent involvement; community collaborations.

This position is responsible for the overall leadership of an infant/ preschool learning center including staff supervision, daily schedule and curriculum (creative classroom), building and maintaining enrollment, parent and community relations, fiscal management, facility maintenance, risk management, and licensing compliance. Demonstrate the ability to plan, supervise and implement a high-quality program with the YMCA mission statement foremost in planning consideration. Able to work with individuals of all ages and relate to in a courteous and effective manner. Demonstrate and teach the character development values of respect, responsibility, trustworthiness, caring, fairness and citizenship.

Team members are also required to assist with coordinating branch family events, recording and observing children, implementation of all policies & procedures particular to the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles “Standards of Excellence”. It also involves building relationships with parents and community leaders and member relationship management. As in all YMCA positions, segments of job responsibilities include seasonal involvement in annual Current Support (fund raising) Campaigns and other branch activities called for as a member of the staff team.
