A typical day begins by going into the fitness room and checking the appointment sheets to see how many members you will be meeting with. Checking your email messages and responding to members to ensure the line of communication are always open. For appointments that don’t show, we encourage follow up calls to reschedule member appointments to guarantee we are providing encouragement for them to continue their self improvement.
Your day is filled with appointments and walking the exercise floors helping facility members with equipment, offering suggestions, answering questions, and offering encouragement. School-Age Child Care Site Director II

The Child Care Site Director II is responsible for overall management and service delivery of the school age child care site, providing direct supervision of all staff. Responsibilities include: staff recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, and evaluation; new program and curriculum implementation, program standards of excellence, safety and risk management; annual budget development and management; Title 22 license compliance; parent involvement; community collaborations; school partnership; representation in branch annual support campaign as required and other duties as assigned by Senior Program Director. This position will also provide mentoring, guidance and support to a smaller sister site, when needed. May be required to lead department-wide initiatives (curriculum development, administrative support, department committees, etc.).

Candidate must be comfortable advocating for and emulating the YMCA cause-driven movement, which focuses on the importance of Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility.
