Cardiovascular (cardio) exercise burns calories and lowers body fat while strengthening your heart and lungs. It also lowers your stress level by flooding your body with endorphins. What’s not to love about all that?
Cardio has been around since the first caveman was chased by a hungry carnivore and lived to tell the tale! And while we don’t have to worry about being eaten nowadays, we do need to look out for how much food we put in our bodies, how much time we spend being sedentary and how much stress we take in from work, family and the environment.
