Resident Camp Locations

Camp Whittle is located approximately 115 miles north east of Los Angeles in the San Bernardino National Forest. Located near Mammoth Lakes, the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles High Sierra Camps provide a venue very different from the traditional residential camp. The High Sierra Camp is designed for both older youth, who have reached the peak of the progressive camping experience in the YMCA and as a teaching tool to develop adults as YMCA outdoor leaders.
