Resident Camp

Say hello to adventure this summer! We offer summer camp experiences for campers entering 3rd-11th grades next school year. Children and teens receive life changing outdoor experiences at our traditional summer camps. We have two great summer camps located in the San Bernardino Mountains and one on Catalina Island:

Camp Round Meadow

For campers entering grades 3 - 6 next school year

Camp Whittle

For campers entering grades 6 -11 next school year

August 4 - 11, 2012

Camp Catalina White’s Landing

For campers entering grades 7 - 10 next school year

Summer Camp Registration in 3 Easy Steps!

Step 1. Apply for Financial Aid or a Military Family Scholarship.

Apply for financial aid directly through the Torrance-South Bay YMCA by filling out the Financial Aid Packet and send it in. For military families please fill out the Military Family Scholarship Packet and send it in. Once you are approved please go to step 2. (If you are not applying for Financial Aid or a Military Family Scholarship, skip to step 2.)

Step 2. Complete the Registration Form (Online or Paper)

You can register online for the camp of your choice through the registration links below or download the paper form through the link below and submit it to the Torrance South-Bay YMCA.

Step 3. Download and complete the Parent Packet for your camp, then submit to the Torrance-South Bay YMCA:

Camp Catalina White’s Landing:

Camp Whittle:

6th-7th graders – Tuesday June 26, 7 pm

8th-9th graders – Wednesday June 27, 7 pm

10th-11th graders – Thursday June 28, 7 pm

Three prices for the same experience

Price A - $460 ($395 Round Meadow) – This is the price of one amazing week of summer camp for your child.

Price B - $510 ($445 Round Meadow) – Includes Price A plus overhead costs of camp operations including equipment and facility upkeep.

Price C - $560 ($495 Round Meadow) – Includes Price A & B plus long term costs of camp operations including depreciation and wear and tear. (Represents the true cost of camp.)

Financial Aid is also available for those who qualify.

Camper selection of price is completely confidential and in no way affects the quality of the summer camp experience each child receives. Military Family Scholarships are also available for active duty, deployed and recently out of the military families.
