As a partner with local elementary schools, the Torrance-South Bay YMCA child care program enhances and complements the curriculum presented to your child at school.

Benefits include year-round care, 1:12 staff to child ratio and enrichment instructors with a background in education and child development.  Curriculum includes homework time, fun enrichment classes and activities throughout the day and the chance to work with community organizations.

YMCA child care staff is CPR/first aid and water safety certified and fingerprinted to ensure quality and safety for your child. YMCA staff have also completed training and coursework in child development and early childhood education.
