Adult Fitness

Designed for active older adults, this class consists of a warm up, stretching, easy to follow cardio movements and a variety of muscle conditioning and flexibility.

 

AOA (Active Older Adults)

Balance Class

An exercise program for older adults designed to improve balance, strength, flexibility, and posture skills. Exercise includes light weights, bands and cardio.

Cardio Circuit/Interval

Class combines interval cardio endurance with muscle toning exercises.

 

Arthritis Exercise

A low impact class helping to relieve pain from joint stiffness.

 

Balance Circuit

Focusing on core training in order to increase balance, stability and special awareness.

 

Ball Pilates

A core strengthening work out incorporating the swiss ball with the regular pilates class instruction.

 

Belly Dancing

A fun way to get in your cardio exercise by learning belly dance moves and choreography.

 

Brazilian Dance

Carnival style aerobics followed by dance choreography learning various steps from Brazil - Samba, Reggae, Axe.

 

Cardio Muscle Ball

Incorporates muscle strength exercises using resist-a-ball for added challenge and stabilization. Great for all levels.

 

Cardio Smashup

Combination of high energy Aerobics, Kickboxing & Dance including sculpting moves to help shape and tone.

 

Cycling

Cycle along to music on our Schwinn bikes. Great cardio workout for intermediate and advanced students.

 

Dance Fusion

Fun combination of several modalities of dance. A low impact dance class for all members.

 

Hatha Blend Yoga

A class for students familiar with Yoga. It involves both a flow and standing poses connecting breath to movement and meditation.

 

Fitness Endurance

Combines challenging cardio endurance with muscle toning exercises.

 

Hip Hop

An upbeat aerobic dance class featuring the latest hip hop moves to help you burn off those calories.

 

Intermediate Vinyasa Flow Yoga

A vigorous, flowing Yoga class best suited for intermediate yoga practitioners.

 

Kickboxing

Fun, high energy cardiovascular workout designed to burn fat and tone muscles. Muscle isolation and stretching included. Great for all levels.

 

Kundalini Yoga

Sometimes called the yoga of awareness because it “awakens” the unlimited potential that already exists within every human being.

 

Line Dancing

This fun and energetic group class teaches traditional line dancing with a hint of soul.

 

Mat Pilates

A core strengthening work out focusing on floor exercises with the regular pilates class instruction.

 

Meditation

A relaxation class designed to help teach focus on your breathing to reduce stress.

 

Muscle Condition

Complete workout combining cardio and muscle strength working all muscles.

 

Muscle Strength

Designed to tone and sculpt the body. Focus is on muscular strength and endurance with the use of hand weights and weight bearing exercises.

 

NIA (Neuromuscular Integrative Action)

A blend of Jazz, Tai-Qi, yoga and modern dance. Nia helps structural alignment, releases tension and is great cardio.

 

Arthritis Exercise (PACE):

People with Arthritis Can Exercise

Ideal for people of all ages who want to build strength, increase flexibility, protect joint stress and strain and power their cardiovascular system. This class is done both seated and standing.

 

Pilates

This floor (mat-based) class teaches the Joseph Pilates method of training the core musculature through a wide variety of stabilization exercises.

 

Power Yoga

Best suited for Intermediate to Advanced yoga practitioners building strength by holding poses for longer periods of time.

 

Pro Cycling

A series of challenging and unique specialized rides. This class is designed to improve and enhance your riding skills and fitness level.

 

Step

Intermediate cardio workout using steps along with toning and abdominal work.

 

Stretch

Full body (head to toe) flexibility class focusing on increasing range of motion.

 

Super Step

Intermediate step aerobics class with fast paced music & tons of fun!

 

Taji

Understood to be the highest conceivable principle, that from which existence flows. A beautiful dance with tai chi style movements.

 

Yoga

Gentle stretching, deep breathing, and positive meditation.

 

Zumba

The class is a fusion of Latin and International music that mixes body sculpting movements with fun dance steps.
