Adventure Guides is a great way to foster companionship and understanding while setting a foundation for positive, lifelong relationships between parent and child by spending enjoyable, constructive, and quality time together.
Each parent/child member is put into a group called a “Camp.” Each Camp has a monthly meeting where they discuss upcoming events, pass out required flyers and registration forms, and have a fun project that each parent and child complete together as a team. There is one Expedition activity such as overnight weekend campouts to San Diego and Big Bear, a sleepover at the Long Beach Aquarium, father/daughter dances, Pinewood Derby races, Build Your Own Rocket Day, etc. For all Expedition activities, all Camps come together and participate.
Age Groups
Young Guides: Ages 3 - 5
Adventure Guides: Ages 5 - 9
Trailblazers: Ages 9 - 11
Program Costs
Before July 31:
Returning Members: $145
New Members: $170
As of Aug 1:
Returning Members: $165
New Members: $190
