Swim Team & Swim Club
Our Y Swim Teams and Swimming Leagues offer swimmers of all ages and abilities the chance to refine their strokes and improve cardiovascular fitness, strength and endurance through distance swimming, sprint swimming and upper and lower body workouts. Is your swimmer ready to compete?
Individual teams are organized by ability levels and are designed to help team members improve and refine the four competitive strokes, sets, starts and finishes. For those interested in our pre-swim team, check out our Porpoise Club.
Workouts include endurance, speed and drill techniques, with a healthy dose of teamwork and sportsmanship. Teams practice several times per week and we encourage all swimmers to attend regularly.
To ensure each athlete’s safety and success, all participants must pass a swim test to qualify as a team member. We’d love to have your swimmer as a part of our team.

PORPOISE SWIM CLUB (AGES 6 – 14)
An hour-long session for swimmers who have completed Shark Level. Excellent preparation for swim team or for overall cardiovascular endurance and muscle development. Facility membership and tryouts required.
Mon & Wed 3:30 - 4:30 pm
SWIM TEAM (AGES 5 – 18)
Dedicated to help improve cardiovascular fitness, strength and endurance through distance swimming, sprint swimming and upper and lower body workouts. Swimmers compete in the Southern California YMCA Swim League Sept - Feb, workouts are year-round. Facility membership and tryouts are required.
