Arthritis & Disabilities Exercise
Don’t let your arthritis prevent you from getting a great workout! Our Arthritis and Water Exercise Program, approved by the Arthritis Foundation, uses warm water to soothe pain and stiffness, increase mobility and flexibility, and improve overall balance.
Did you know more than 52 million people in the US have been diagnosed with arthritis? That’s one in every five people, making arthritis the most common cause of disability in the country. Joint inflammation can be extremely painful, and it affects all age groups. The great news is we can help you manage it!
Our trained instructors will lead you through exercises specifically designed to help improve the range of motion in your muscles and joints by using the resistance of the water to improve muscle tone in a safe and pain-free way. You’ll also increase your cardiovascular endurance through a series of gentle water aerobics movements that can be modified to your ability.
