Crenshaw Family YMCA Certificate

This award highlights the many contributions the Crenshaw Y has provided its community, which include free weekly produce distributions, scholarships for youth to participate in various Y programs and community events for families to fellowship and engage with one another.

The Crenshaw Y was also awarded with the City of Los Angeles Award from California Councilmember, Marqueece Harris-Dawson, who has been representing the Los Angeles Council District 8 of western Southwest Los Angeles since 2015.

Crenshaw Family YMCA Award

This award recognizes all of the successful renovations the Crenshaw Y has completed in just last year alone. With their recent partnership with the Jordan Brand and Russell Westbrook “Why Not" Foundation, Crenshaw Family YMCA is able to continue to provide a safe, fun and productive space for families and youth in the Crenshaw community.

"We look forward to growing with our Y community and appreciate the acknowledgement from both our state Senator and Councilmember." - Veda Ramsay, Executive Director
