Southeast-Rio Vista YMCA Smokey Bear and Edison International Wildfire Prevention Celebration

Smokey Bear is heading to the Los Angeles area! Edison International and community partners will gather at the Southeast Rio Vista YMCA to celebrate wildfire prevention education and the support that helps bring it to families.

Event Details

The annual Edison International Appreciation Event will recognize Edison International’s support for Smokey Bear’s 82nd Birthday Mission, an interactive educational experience from Agents of Discovery that teaches players about wildfire prevention.

Smokey Bear will join the celebration alongside representatives from Edison International, the City of Maywood, the U.S. Forest Service, Agents of Discovery, and community partners.

Children will also have the opportunity to play Smokey Bear’s Birthday Mission, giving the media a chance to see the educational experience in action.

The event will welcome new partners from South Freemont, Placerita Canyon, Whittier Narrows, and the City of Ontario, highlighting the communities working together to bring educational Missions to more families. We hope to see you there!
