President’s Club

The President’s Club honors individuals and families who have made a lasting commitment to the YMCA through endowment gifts or planned giving. Established in 1972, the President’s Club recognizes those whose generosity helps ensure the YMCA remains a source of belonging, well-being, and opportunity for generations to come.

Ways to Make a Planned Gift

• Bequests
  • One of the simplest ways to create a lasting impact is by including the YMCA in your will or living trust. Your gift may be a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or designated property.
• Sample Bequest Language
  • “I give to YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles the sum of $__________ or _______% of the remainder of my estate (or trust) to be used for its general purposes, or for the benefit of a specific center, program, or purpose.”
• Life Insurance and Retirement Assets
  • Naming the YMCA as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, retirement plan, or other financial account can create a meaningful future gift while potentially offering tax advantages to your estate.
• Charitable Gift Annuity
  • A charitable gift annuity allows you to make a significant gift to the YMCA while receiving fixed payments for life for yourself and/or a loved one. It can provide financial security today while creating a lasting impact tomorrow.
