Amanda McLean Certifications - Y-ACE Foundation of Strength Training/Group exercise, TRX & Functional movement
As a young child, Amanda was a competitive swimmer. This lifestyle soon steered her as a young adult to become a swim instructor and lifeguard for the Y. Furthering her passion for living a healthy lifestyle, she embarked upon the journey to become a wellness coach and group exercise instructor. She enjoys encouraging others and helping them achieve the best version of themselves by overcoming obstacles to accomplish goals.

Valuchá Hamovitz Certifications - Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance, Certified Yoga Therapist with International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT), received her Certificate of Completion in Yoga Therapy Rx -- Level III Clinic from Loyola Marymount University, and is (AFFA) Athletics and Fitness Association of America group ex certified.
Valucha has been involved with yoga for over 30 years spending 25 of those years leading classes at the YMCA in LA. She has vast practical knowledge in working to restore shoulders, back, hip and knees to normal range of motion, and was recognized regarding Yoga in the personal empowerment book “Jump-Start Your Life” by Silva Mirzoian.

Joe began playing sports at a young age and continued athletics throughout college. His passion for competition sparked his interest for teaching group exercises classes. While teaching, Joe pictures himself as the coach and strives to ensure his class members have a successful experience. Joe enjoys teaching and building relationships with members. He has been with the Y for 5 years.

Corrine PridgenCertifications – ACE, Zumba & TRX
Corrine has been teaching Group Fitness classes for over three decades. She teaches a wide variety of classes including Zumba, Boot Camp, Strength, Cardio Kickbox, TRX and HIIT. Her classes are motivating and challenging, coupled with humor and education. She has a passion for working with all levels and helping members achieve the feeling of self-efficacy after a workout.
