THE Y IS OPEN!

We’re thrilled to announce that the Y is opening for healthy lifestyle activities.  When you return, you’ll notice some changes.

  • Our facilities are currently limited to 25% capacity
  • Our indoor pools are only open for swim lessons.  We are waiting for guidance from LA County on indoor pool use beyond swim lessons now that we are in the Orange Tier.  We anticipate having information between April 15 and April 19.  As soon as we have guidance on how we can operate our indoor pools, we will provide detailed opening information to our members.  Thank you for your continued patience.
  • The outdoor pool at our Pasadena-Sierra branch is offering lap swim and swim lessons. The pool is operating at 50% capacity, per LA County reopening guidelines. Lap swim reservations are strongly encouraged and can be made on our website and on our app.
  • All members will have their temperature taken and asked wellness questions upon entry
  • Masks are required at all times (except in the pool for swim lessons)
  • Our equipment is spaced further apart to allow for physical distancing
  • Hand and equipment sanitation stations have been installed in our fitness areas and we have hand sanitizer available at the membership desk and at select areas in the branch - please make sure to wipe down the equipment before and after use
  • Outdoor group exercise classes are available
  • Lockers rooms and showers are temporarily unavailable
  • There are updated waiver forms for members to sign upon their return. (Select a language to review & sign: English | Spanish | Korean)

If your membership is currently on hold, we will not resume billing until your branch reopens. If you'd like to extend your hold or place your membership on hold, please click here.

Cleaning Protocols:

All Y branches and child care sites are deep cleaned nightly.  In addition, throughout the day, on a regular basis we are disinfecting all high-touch surfaces such as hand rails, elevator buttons, door handles, counters and gym equipment.
